The Timesco websites are hosted with Rackspace, one of the country’s leading internet
hosts. Rackspace store all of our data (non-credit card) and ensure our sites are
functional 24 hours a day.
Our RackSpace servers are stored in a high security environment with many levels
of physical and electronic security in place. RackSpace’s facilities are so secure
they are used by the Ministry of Defense.
The security of our customers’ data is of utmost importance to Timesco, which is
why we use 128 Bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption from Thawte when transferring
data from our site to other computers.
You will know when your data is being encrypted in two ways. Firstly the web address
will show ‘https’ and secondly, a padlock symbol will appear in your web browser.
When you see these two things you can be assured that your data in being encrypted
using one of the most advanced technologies available.
To process your payments we are using the PROTX system, a leading internet payment
provider recommended by Lloyds TSB. When you make a payment for Timesco products
you enter your details in to the secure PROTX system.
None of your credit or debit card details are held by Timesco. Should we need to
make a refund on your card for any reason, we identify your transaction by ID, name,
card type and the last 4 digits of the card number. Timesco then request PROTX refund
the transaction amount back onto the card that made the initial purchase.
